Three Pines Farm
A Little History of Three Pines FarmCloud Callout:

When my husband and I retired and moved to Missouri, raising anything other than horses was never in our minds.  When I made a visit to the local quick change oil business I met a very friendly lady who raised sheep.

My first question was, “Do you have any freezer lambs for sale?”  and yes she did.  I went over to see the lambs and I fell in love with these beautiful and very unusual sheep.

I called my husband, who at the time had made a trip back to Illinois, and told him about the sheep and his answer was no way were we going to get sheep.  Well, when he came back home I took him over to see the sheep and that was the start of our flock.

We now have a small flock of fourteen ewes and two rams.  This year we have twelve new lambs and all of the young ram lambs are four-horned.  We have several pastures and rotate the girls between them and supplement their feeding with a grain ration and hay that we grow on our farm.
